About Me
Marie Miller has been working in the PEIMS industry for over 20 years.
SOFTWARE CONSULTANT – While working at a Texas ESC Region Service Center, she spent many years consulting for 12 school districts and helping in all areas of PEIMS submissions.
She has also consulted with several of the state approved software vendors and served for three years as an Implementation Consultant and PEIMS Subject Matter Expert for the Frontline Education company.
PEIMS COORDINATOR - Transitioning into the next career phase as a District PEIMS Coordinator and serving in roles at various sizes of districts from small to large resulted in gaining extensive experience working with all levels of district personnel. During this time, there were many software implementations, PEIMS Submission changes, TEA Audits and hundreds of training sessions provided to all levels of district personnel from top administrators to end users on our campuses.
STATE PRESENTER - Serving as an active contributor to the TASBO (Texas Association for School Business Operations) for many years has provided a very rewarding way to help train new PEIMS professionals. She earned the RTSBA (Registered Texas School Business Administrator) certification and immediately moved forward to giving back! Having authored curriculum and taught courses, she also was happy to serve on the PEIMS Committee and as a PEIMS Mentor for TASBO. She also presented sessions for software vendors in the PEIMS area and always enjoys teaching state employees about PEIMS!
MENTOR and COACH - With a demonstrated passion for mentoring those who are new to PEIMS, Edusys offers additional support and training. She has spent most of her career teaching and coaching PEIMS newbies and is eager to support the next generation of PEIMS Professionals as they launch their careers!
AUDITOR – Marie has served in this capacity as a co-auditor and as a single independent auditor to assist districts in getting through the rigors of TEA PEIMS Data Audits.
TRAINER – Marie has customized many trainings for all areas of PEIMS including master scheduling, registration, discipline, campus administration, attendance, HR, finance, business office and vendor interface integrations.
